How does it work?

IMterrupt was designed to be simple to use, and extremely effective. We use several algorithms to detect and lock applications There is a simple password protected user interface to set Locking On or Locking Off. The working portion of IMterrupt is virtually invisible to the computer user.

What if I find something that is not blocked?

IMterrupt has a live update feature. If you find something that is not blocked, simply notify us at support@imterrupt.com and we will review it for the next live update. IMterrupt Professional users can add websites and programs to their ad hoc blocking under Advanced Options.

What are the System Requirements?

Operating System: Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows NT Browser: Internet Explorer Hardware: 2 MB Hard Drive Space, Pentium III or higher, 156 MB RAM. Administrative rights to the computer.

My user can see the icons, does it still work?

The control panel is password protected, so unless your users know the password, they cannot access IMterrupt to stop the blocking.The icons and shortcuts will only appear on the administrative account that installed thesoftware. The icons and shortcuts will be invisible to all other accounts. But you can delete the icons and shortcuts, and it will not impact IMterrupt.

How is my password protected?

The password is stored using an extremely strong encryption. The encryption is also changed periodically to defeat any would be hackers.
